Driven by this simple, profound conviction, Shri Shantilal Suratwala founded the Acharya Anandrishiji Pune Blood Center in 1993 — turning a humble charitable trust into one of Maharashtra's most trusted regional blood transfusion centres.
His spirit of selfless seva — quiet, steadfast, never seeking recognition — continues to guide every drop we collect and every patient we serve. The lives saved each day are the truest tribute to his legacy.

About Us
A Legacy of
Compassion & Care
Located at S.M. Joshi Foundation Building, New Sadashiv Peth, Pune, our centre operates under the Acharya Anandrishiji Charitable Trust and is a Government of Maharashtra recognised Regional Blood Transfusion Centre (RBTC).
It is a well-equipped centre using modern techniques throughout — gel technology for blood grouping and cross-matching, fourth-generation kits for ELISA testing, automated blood-component separators, and the Trima Accel system for apheresis.
As a charitable trust, our core objective is to provide blood and blood components at concessional rates to the poor and needy. We supply free blood to thalassemia patients and government hospitals — ensuring no patient goes without.
